Hat tip to Adbusters, the media organization responsible for a movement that became Occupy Wall Street.

The truth is, advertisers probably know more about us than we know about ourselves. We believe people should own their personal data, or at the very least be able to ask companies like Facebook and Google to reveal what data they’re storing on us and delete it upon request.

We also just think the world would be a better place without billboards.

Subversive Messaging is a poster series designed for Salem Arts Fest 2018 by Jon Misarski in collaboration with Ryan Heidorn. All proceeds go to EFF to support digital privacy.
